Stay up to date with everything happening at Wattle & Wave.
From new services and community workshops to advocacy projects, Pilates sessions, guest speaking events and personal updates, this space is where I share what’s unfolding in real time.
It’s a blend of professional milestones, lived-experience insights, and the meaningful moments that shape the work I do.
Whether it’s launching a program, hosting a coastal wellbeing morning, collaborating with local organisations, or sharing reflections from my advocacy journey, you’ll find the latest updates here.
My goal is to keep this space open, honest and connected — a place where you can follow the evolution of Wattle & Wave as it grows, shifts and makes an impact in our community and beyond.
Golf - Who Would Have Thought?
Golf has become one of my unexpected loves — a place where nature, calm and community all meet.
Out on the course, I get trees, fresh air, open space and the kind of peace and quiet that feels grounding after everything life has thrown my way.
It’s my time to breathe, reset and just be present.
Moving to a new town, golf also gave me connection.
New friends, friendly faces, a sense of belonging and a way to settle into Jurien Bay.
It’s not just a sport for me — it’s movement, mindfulness, nature and healing all wrapped into one.

Pilates - For The Love Of Stretch!
Pilates has been a constant in my life for more than eight years — a practice that has carried me through change, challenge, growth and everything in between.
I started with mat Pilates, learning the foundations, reconnecting with my body and realising how powerful slow, intentional movement could be.
Over time I added reformer Pilates, exploring strength, control and alignment in a whole new way.
I’ve trained in different gyms and studios, guided by so many incredible instructors, each with their own style, energy and wisdom.
Every experience has shaped how I teach and how I move. Pilates became more than exercise for me — it became grounding, healing, strengthening and deeply supportive for my mind and nervous system.
It’s a practice I turn to for clarity, calm and confidence, and one I love sharing with others so they can feel that same sense of connection and support in their own bodies.

International Womens Day
Naked on St Georges Terrace
One of the most defining moments of my advocacy journey was standing shoulder-to-shoulder with more than 100 other women on St Georges Terrace — united, vulnerable, and completely unapologetic.
We stood there together, bare and unfiltered, to protest sexual assault and to demand visibility for the experiences so many women are forced to carry alone.
It was raw, brave and one of the most powerful acts of solidarity I’ve ever been part of.
That day wasn’t about shock value — it was about reclaiming our bodies, our voices and our stories.
It was a reminder that when women come together, we can shift conversations, challenge systems and create real change.
International Women’s Day will always hold deep meaning for me because of that moment: a collective stand for truth, safety, and the right for every woman to live free from harm.
